Annelise Nentwick is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). After earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins, she specialized in psychiatric nursing and worked as an RN in an inpatient psychiatric hospital on the child and adolescent units. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, with a Psychiatric Mental Health concentration, from University of Maryland. She treats clients with various mental health concerns of all ages, and is especially passionate about working with children and adolescents and their families.


She treats her clients as complex, multifaceted individuals, with the understanding that the client is the expert on their own lived experiences. She believes in supporting and empowering clients to find the treatment options that work best for them based on their symptoms and concerns, with an emphasis on collaboration and education. She provides an environment where clients feel heard and can express themselves without fear of judgment. She is committed to providing the most up-to-date care through continued learning and professional growth, by attending conferences and workshops and reading research articles about emerging best practices.
