Cierra Vaughters is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a strong commitment to compassionate, holistic care. A proud Baltimore native, Cierra discovered her passion for connecting with others early in life and has since dedicated her career to making a meaningful impact on her community through mental health advocacy and clinical excellence.

Cierra began her healthcare journey as a medical-surgical nurse, where she built a strong foundation in patient care and clinical judgment. Her passion for mental health led her to Sheppard Pratt Health System, where she provided care across the lifespan to individuals living with diverse psychiatric conditions. Her experience in the crisis emergency department further solidified her dedication to being a first responder for individuals in acute psychiatric distress, offering stabilization, support, and a path toward recovery.

While completing her Master of Science in Nursing at York College of Pennsylvania, Cierra received advanced training in psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and integrated, patient-centered mental health care. She believes in empowering her patients through collaborative treatment planning and strives to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where individuals can openly share their goals, fears, and successes.

Cierra is committed to lifelong learning and continues to expand her expertise by attending mental health conferences and workshops. She brings warmth, empathy, and clinical acumen to every patient interaction, helping clients achieve their highest potential and improve their overall well-being.
