Travis Baird, CRNP-PMNHP

Adult Primary Care + Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Travis is the founder of Innovative Treatment Centers. He is dually certified as an Adult Primary Care and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He has vast experience in pain management, addiction medicine, and mental health co-occurring disorders. Travis was born in Guyana, grew up in Venezuela, and served in the United States Army as a combat medic and operating room technician. His nursing background is in critical care and cardiology.


Travis understands mental health's role in overall health and establishing positive connections with people and places for optimal healing and care promotion. He has received his Master's in nursing from the City University of New York Hunter College and a post-master's certificate from George Washington University.

Karen Garcia, CRNP-PMHNP

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Hi, my name is Karen Garcia. I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). My nursing background extends from telemetry, emergency department, to inpatient psychiatry. I treat clients with various mental health co-occurring disorders. I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. I was born in DC, but spent my childhood in Mexico and returned to the U.S. as a teenager. I speak English and Spanish fluently.

 

I am passionate about mental health and I understand the impact it has on our overall health. My goal for my clients is to make them feel heard and empowered to treat their illness through partnership, education, and support in a non-judgmental free environment.

¡Hola! Hello, my name is Esperanza, and I am grateful to be a licensed therapist in the mental health and wellness field. I speak both English and Spanish fluently and identify as a Latina. In my six years of experience, I have developed therapeutic alliances with individuals by serving and leading with empathy and compassion, utilizing active listening skills and a holistic approach with a non-judgmental attitude.


My practice is guided by cultural sensitivity and trust-building. I value the importance of human relationships, the dignity and worth of each individual, service, and competence. I help individuals with managing depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem building. I received my Master's in Social Work at the University of New England and have worked in various clinical settings.
