About Daniela

Daniela believes something good can still be waiting just beyond where we are.

Warm, curious, and deeply drawn to people, Daniela finds meaning in getting to know the lives unfolding around her. She loves hearing someone's story, learning where they come from, and discovering the experiences that have shaped them. Connection comes naturally to her, whether through listening, offering a little comfort, sharing a laugh, or simply taking the time to be present with someone.

As a bilingual Virtual Assistant who speaks English and Spanish, Daniela brings that same openness to the patients she supports and the ITC team working alongside her. She loves being part of a team where people can learn from one another, and she hopes patients and families feel they have people they can turn to when things become difficult. For Daniela, helping isn't only about completing a task. It's about the person on the other side of it.

At the center of Daniela's approach is a deep belief in human dignity. Experiences with serious illness and loss within her own family helped her understand how vulnerable people can feel during uncertain seasons of life. They strengthened her belief that every person deserves to be met with respect, comfort, and compassion, no matter what they may be facing.

Daniela is also deeply curious about the world around her. She loves art and history and has a natural love of learning and discovery. She graduated as a Registered Nurse in Venezuela and later earned a Graduate Diploma in Forensic Anthropology, experiences that deepened her interest in the places where science, history, and human experience intersect.

Outside of work, Daniela loves books, music and musicals, good food, nature, small adventures, and time spent with her boyfriend, friends, and her cat, Tama. She especially loves sunsets and the warmth they seem to carry, even on darker days. There is something comforting to her about those moments, a quiet reminder that beauty can still find us, even when the day hasn't been easy.

For Daniela, hope is not about knowing exactly what comes next. It is believing that something new can still come. Difficult days do not last forever. The sun and moon rise again, bringing another day and another opportunity. There is still something ahead of us worth reaching for.
