The person behind the care
About Ashley
Ashley Tsu believes that some of the most meaningful healing begins with one simple feeling: knowing someone truly understands you.
Growing up in a culture where mental health was rarely spoken about, Ashley understands what it feels like to carry anxiety, trauma, and difficult emotions in silence. Those experiences shaped not only her journey into psychiatric care, but also the way she cares for every person she meets, with compassion, curiosity, and the unwavering belief that no one should have to face life's challenges alone. For Ashley, every conversation begins by meeting people exactly where they are.

Her Approach
Empathetic, culturally sensitive care
Ashley is especially passionate about helping individuals who have spent years feeling unheard, misunderstood, or disconnected from themselves. She has a particular interest in supporting those navigating generational trauma and the unique experiences that can accompany growing up in Asian cultures, believing that healing begins when every person's story is met with curiosity, understanding, and genuine respect.
Ashley believes every person deserves to be treated with the same kindness, understanding, and respect that she would hope to receive herself. She leads with empathy, patience, and authenticity, creating a space where people feel comfortable sharing their stories without fear of judgment. Her goal is not simply to manage symptoms, but to ensure every person leaves feeling heard, understood, and empowered to believe that healing is possible, one conversation at a time.
For Ashley, some of the most meaningful moments in her work are often the quiet ones: watching someone's shoulders relax, seeing relief in their expression, or witnessing the moment they realize they are no longer carrying everything alone. Those moments remind her why she chose this path and continue to motivate her each day, to make even one person's day a little brighter than it was before.
Outside of the clinic, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and their two rescued dogs, hiking, practicing yoga, relaxing at the beach with an iced coffee and a good book, discovering local coffee shops, and exploring new restaurants with family and friends. Whether she's listening to punk alternative music or country, Ashley finds joy in life's simple moments and believes those moments help us reconnect with ourselves just as much as the big ones do.
For Ashley, hope and healing are deeply connected. She believes that hope gives people the courage to begin healing, and that healing grows through hope, compassion, and the belief that change is always possible.
