The person behind the care

About Jessica

Jessica believes that even the smallest moments of compassion can leave something meaningful behind.

A moment of feeling understood. The relief of being met without judgment. The comfort of knowing that what you are carrying matters to someone else. Jessica has seen how powerful human connection can be during some of life's most vulnerable moments, and she brings that understanding into her care with warmth, patience, and empathy. She knows that meaningful change does not always begin with something extraordinary. Sometimes, it begins with simply being met with compassion exactly when you need it.

Her Approach

Compassionate, non-judgemental care

Jessica's path into mental health care grew from a desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives during vulnerable moments. Her background in psychology and psychiatric nursing showed her the importance of compassionate, nonjudgmental care and ultimately inspired her to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner. What continues to matter most to Jessica is the person in front of her, their concerns, their experiences, and the trust it takes to ask someone else for support.

Jessica approaches care with empathy, patience, and respect. She wants people to feel safe enough to be honest, confident that their concerns will be taken seriously, and supported as they work toward greater stability and quality of life. She finds meaning in witnessing progress toward recovery and believes deeply that mental health challenges deserve the same openness and compassion as any other part of our well-being. For Jessica, asking for help is never a weakness; it is one of the ways we begin making room for change.

Outside of the clinic, Jessica's heart is with her family. She loves making memories with her husband and children, running, traveling, staying active, and spending time outdoors. Sports have always been part of her life, too: Jessica played softball throughout all four years of college and was named an All-American. And after a long day, some of her happiest moments are also the simplest, settling in with her husband for a good show or movie.

For Jessica, hope and healing come back to one belief: meaningful change is possible, even during difficult times. The past may be part of someone's story, but she does not believe it has to define what comes next. There is still room to care for yourself differently, to grow, to heal, and to discover that moving forward can begin from right where you are.
